3FF Job Opportunity

Senior Media Consultant

For 20 years, 3FF, the Three Faiths Forum, has worked to build good relations between people of different faiths, beliefs and identities.

3FF’s message of the importance of good community relations and the value of diversity has never been more important than in today’s social and political climate. We are therefore looking for a highly experienced media consultant to build the organisation’s profile.

This is an opportunity to work with the dynamic team at the UK’s leading interfaith organisation and play a central role in influencing the debate on some of the most important issues of our time. You will be using your skills to challenge divisive media narratives, tell inspiring stories of interfaith unity, and help shape the discussion on crucial questions of diversity and integration.

Fee: £2000/month (£250/day, 2 days per week).

Schedule: An equivalent of two working days per week on 3FF projects, but exact timings are open to discussion.

Contract: This is a freelance contract for six months, with the possibility of extension.

Location: Flexible. We would expect you to meet with the team in London from time to time, but working from other parts of the UK is perfectly fine.

3FF's work is fully inclusive of all identities and we welcome people of all backgrounds, including people with religious or non-religious beliefs.

How to apply

The deadline to apply is Friday 23 June, 9am.

Our work

3FF’s programmes challenge stereotypes and create positive relations between people from different backgrounds.

Our work reaches over 15,000 people annually and involves young people, students, teachers, educators, community leaders and others, from all faiths and beliefs, both religious and non-religious.

Our work has been recognised by a range of international bodies: the UN’s Alliance of Civilizations and the Baring Foundation have both commended our work. We have been awarded the Doha International Interfaith Award, the Shap Award for schools, and were named Camden Mayor’s Charity of the Year. In 2016 we were awarded the Interfaith Volunteering Award by the Jewish Volunteering Network (JVN).
