3FF Internship programme

Looking for an internship?

3FF's internship programme gives you real, hands-on experience of working in the charity sector. Whether you’re a recent graduate, looking to change career, or simply looking for experience in the UK’s leading interfaith organisation, our internships give you plenty of opportunities to develop the skills you need to progress your career.

The internship experience

Every three months we recruit a cohort of five-ten interns, joining us for three or six months, for three days per week. Embedded in one of our teams with meaningful roles and tasks, interns play an active role in the organisation and are given opportunities to become involved in all aspects of the work.
Interns’ learning and development is at the heart of the programme. Alongside wide-ranging and varied day-to-day tasks and projects that challenge and build their experience and skills, interns are provided with fortnightly skills-based training sessions and take part in our dynamic interfaith workshops.

  • Practical hands-on experience in one of our teams with real, exciting projects from day one
  • Skills based training in finance & fundraising, social media, project management and more
  • Explore different faiths, beliefs and identities through our award winning workshops
  • CV and interview coaching
  • Join a diverse team of interns from different backgrounds
  • Access to interfaith and charity sector events and networking opportunities

"Before my internship, I was not expecting the amount of responsibility and working trust that I have been given at 3FF. It’s a fairly small and interconnected office, so it is extremely easy to hop onto other team’s projects or meetings if they catch your interest. "
Sam Ross - Education & Schools Intern

As fundraising intern you will learn about the seven steps of major donor fundraising and fundraising from Trusts and Foundations through researching trust funds and donor profiles, supporting the coordination of major donor events, and drafting text for the 1st stage of proposals.
